Metamorfosis Del Hada
'Metamorfosis Del Hada', translated to Metamorphosis of The Fairy in English, is an acrylic painting made on Baltic birch wood, shaped in a star form. It was completed for the Dia De Los Muertos fest for the University of Texas at San Antonio for display. This piece took me approximately five days to complete due to last-minute timing with many late-night painting sessions to compensate. However, I feel very honored to be part of something bigger than myself and to have my work displayed for students to see. The fairy represents the transformation of the soul from limbo to ascension. Her hands are detached from her body yet they cling to the threads of life, even among the grasp of the afterlife.
